ABOUT NATCCO MBAI
Our association, the National Confederation of Cooperatives Mutual Benefit Association (NATCCO MBA), Inc., was established to support the interest and promote the welfare of the underprivileged in the country. We are here to extend financial assistance to Cooperative Members and their family through micro-insurance products.
CLAIMS ASSISTANT
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process all benefit claims submitted within the set turn-around time.
- Calculate the claims amount and process the corresponding payment.
- Review claims form/document for accuracy and obtain missing information as necessary.
- Work with immediate Superior to verify, analyze and determine exact coverage using established statutory guidelines, and Association’s standards.
- Recommend to Superior the approval or denial of the submitted claims
- Contact and acquire statements from Member Coops to secure necessary claim information.
- Update existing policies and Association records to reflect changes requested by policyholders.
- Handle claims inquiries thru phone calls and correspondence ensuring that all claims are completely acknowledged.
- Communicate the claim file status to Member Coops promptly and regularly.
- Manage all claim files and documentation.
- Assist the supervisor in developing methods and improvements for handling claims.
- Maintain the confidentiality of claims information.
- Perform other duties as requested by Management.
MIS ASSISTANT
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Remind concern Partner-Cooperatives on their monthly BLIP & CLIP enrollees
- Validate and process submitted list based on eligibility rules
- Collate monthly enrollees for reinsurance.
- Load the data into the system to generate the final list
- Extract, consolidate, and export loaded enrollees’ data to create critical reports for regulatory compliance and to update the management.
- Evaluate, recommend and coordinate changes to policies regarding database system to improve its efficiency and security.
- Assist the team with file processing, data extraction and report generation.
- Review the integrity of all information in enrollees’ data received.
- Train the partner cooperatives on the enrollment process
- Communicate to Partner-Cooperatives any lost, incomplete or inaccurate data according to the required format for enrollees.
- Protect Association’s value by keeping information confidential.
